The BAM/PFA website is database-driven and dynamically generated. In my time there (back when we were called webmasters), I coded and debugged CDML/HTML/CSS templates. Additionally, I oversaw a web usability study, supervised a work-study student, created multimedia assets, and maintained web resources such as e-commerce and online film and art collections databases.
